HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY AMERICA

JULY 2, 2012

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY AMERICA

I know this is a little early, but I just wanted to take a minute and say to all Americans around the world, HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY.  I put together a small video to get you into the mood.  Be safe when you are celebrating.  And, my next full-length blog will come out on Thursday evening July 5, 1012 around 10:00 PM.

BLOG WITH YOU SOON, AND

I'LL BE CHATTING ON FACEBOOK.  IF YOU SEE ME POP UP, SAY HELLO!

IT'S PARTY TIME IN THE USA

I also want to say Happy 4th of July.  Take some great photos or videos and post them of the KSK site so we all can enjoy them. And, I"ll be ready for the Thursday Night Virtual Blog Party for Dr. Mel's Message.

  3. Happy 4th of July Melissa. I learned about your new blog on DH Lewis's Facebook. So pleased that you are writing strong roles for women over 40. You've certainly found a winner with DH.

I've circled you on Google so I am going to make it easy on myself and comment from my Google account here.

Nice 4th of July post and video. It looks like you are active on Youtube (I found the "lotproducer", "Screenwritersrus" and "EYSTROKEKILLERFILM" channels) so I was curious. Either you stripped out the YouTube frame or you didn't post this video to YouTube and embed their code to your blog but instead loaded directly to your blog?

As I'm sure you know, YouTube itself is a search engine, so it would bring traffic back to your blog. Loading heavy images or any media directly to your blog will slow it down. If you post this 4th of July video on one of your YouTube channels, I expect it will get shared nicely these two days. If you do that, put a link to this blog post at the top of the video description.

Grrr. It looks like this is going to post as "unknown" even though it had me sign in to my Google account. I guess only fellow BlogSpot users get recognized in this commenting system. I have tried OpenID on other blogspots and that doesn't work very well either. So let me tell you who I am:

  4. Taking a stab with OpenID to make note: when I said "I've circled you on Google" I meant "I've circled you on Google+" Hope to see you over there as well!

I'll be darned, I'm signed into OpenID and that also posts a unknown. Perhaps I am an alien.

I checked the links from Hannah and Bonnie and they link to Google+ so I am not sure what went wrong with my Google sign-in. I was already logged into Google+. The commenting system had me log in again and it still didn't pick up my account, I checked and I am still logged into Google+ (I just commented on your Google+ post about this blog post).

Google really should do something about the commenting system on BlogSpot. Even though only one out of 3 of us has had difficulties commenting here, I have heard complaints before, especially when we talk about commenting platforms on the Twitter chat called BlogChat. I assume Google doesn't want to allow commenters to use the Gravatar system (which pulls in our avatar from an email address) to limit spam.

  5. OpenID was "unknown" in preview but did work. One last experiment here. I logged out of "Google unknown" so that I can try logging in again. Relogged itself in to Unknown (Google).

I see now there is a place to add a profile picture. I tried that and it is just spinning.
