ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Chris Armitage is a veteran of the United States Air Force and has a Masters in Homeland Security, writing his capstone research project on the use of emerging technology to combat human trafficking. He has independently researched this horrific crime in the US, Mexico, and India, with experience leading a small Presidential Security Team in South America with Argentine Special Forces for President Barack Obama's visit to Bariloche, Argentina. Christopher Armitage went through two active military tours in the Middle East and currently works as a Security Consultant focusing on Security and Disaster Preparedness Policy and Ethics Advisement. During his time in the USAF, he served as Base Defense Operations Controller, Security Manager, and Patrolman.
